Sports Day
Hello readers,
Today was the big day “Sports Day!”
and π₯π₯BROWN-WESTπ₯π₯ was more ready than ever! From the moment I
woke up, I was filled with excitement and in great spirits. π₯π₯BROWN-WESTπ₯π₯’s
house colour is red, so naturally, I
came out in my red gear, all ready to support my amazing students.
The morning started with a quick
task we made name tags for the runners before diving straight into the final
cheerleading practice. After practice, we got the cheerleaders dressed, and oh
my goodness, they looked absolutely adorable. Cheerleading was one of the
morning events, but because of the rain, it got delayed and didn’t start until
the afternoon.
Then came the cheerleading
performance, and let me tell you, my girls made me so proud! They did an
outstanding job. Though they didn’t win, they came in second place, losing by
only two points to the other house, which was also very good. Honestly, both
teams were amazing, but I couldn’t have been prouder of my girls. They gave it
their all.
After cheerleading, it was time for
the races. Sports Day is a huge event for Boston primary school, and there was
a great turnout with parents and supporters cheering on the students. I was so
engaged and involved throughout the entire day, running around and making sure
each student was ready for their race. I literally screamed my lungs out in
support! I was up and down, back and forth, making sure I had students for each
race, and working closely with the parents and other teachers. By the end of
the day, I was nearly hoarse from all the cheering.
Even though π₯π₯BROWN-WESTπ₯π₯ didn’t win Sports Day overall, to me, they
are all winners. π₯π₯BROWN-WESTπ₯π₯ students came out and they did excellent. The
spirit, teamwork, and excitement of the day made it a true success.
I’m so proud of every student from π₯π₯BROWN-WESTπ₯π₯.
They did their absolute best, and I was beyond thrilled with their efforts. The
event was amazing, and the parents were incredibly supportive. The students
gave it their all, and they made me proud no matter where they were placed. I’m
already looking forward to next year’s Sports Day!
